Saddiye and Jamal Miqbel are the proud and protective parents of five lovely children living in Beit Ommar, a village just north of Hebron.  Beit Ommar is surrounded by illegal Israeli settlements which have slowly, and sometimes not so slowly, confiscated the village's land, destroyed their crops and attacked their people.  Jamal is the founder of Wounded, Crossing Borders, a gathering of Israelis and Palestinians committed to dialogue and reconciliation.  Their courage and faithfulness is an inspiration to all who know them.  Please share this message with any who will listen.  Cotton Fite

We always pray all of you well, i want to thank all of you to keep touch with us, supporrting us, feeling with us, its so important and helpful to know there is many people realizing what happenning in our area.

Its so hard for Mum's here when the son's become older, we realize. may be in any moment our kids will be arrested or injoured by the Israeli's soldiers, every day I imagine this will happen, but sure I will not appear this to my kids ,I seems to be strong to encourages them to continue thier life and still excellent in school's I feel this is the big challenge in our difficult situation, I find my self in my kids, I like to give them all my knowledge in good way, despite of what we face everyday, I try to make them good a lso with the Jewish to respect the humanity as our God told us regardless of their religion.

I will not forget Yazan and Zain's feeling when my family told us the Israeli's soldier's visited their houses during the night and ask about Zein, they told me to prepair warm clothes to them to wear it if the soldiers come through the night, also they refused to sleep in their room many nights alone, Yazan told us don't forget if they arrested us to tell my school and the English Access Microscholarship Program (who teach us English lessons) that I will be apsent because of arresting. I told the Israelis who visited us (Jamal's freind) I will refuse your help to release my kids if they will be in the jail because I feel with other mother's who can't find any one to help them to release their kids.

Many times I tell Jamal stop working with the Israelis because what the Israelis goverment do every day on the ground not help to make peace, I hope what he do with others will make changes and end the violence, this need alot of courage, I appreciate what they do, but it's 3 years untill now without big progress. I hope I'm wrong but this is my feelings.
