Greetings, EPF friends and supporters!
Thanks for your commitment to justice and peace and your dedication to EPF and EPF PIN! If you live near Baltimore, Maryland, or plan to be at the General Convention of The Episcopal Church in Baltimore this summer, set from July 5-14, 2022, and have an interest in helping us as a volunteer, we’d be so grateful to have your help. We need volunteers to help us set up our informational booth in the exhibition area on July 5, and then to take shifts staffing the booth and leafletting during all the days of convention. We need folks on the afternoon of July 5 to help set up for our reception (which will be held on the evening of July 5 at the Old Otterbein UMC), to serve during the reception, and to help with take down and clean up after the reception. We will need help taking down the information booth on the 14th as convention closes. If you live in the area, and/or if you are planning to attend convention and would be available to help us out with any of these chores, please let us know. (Note: Proof of COVID vaccinations required by TEC to be on site at convention.) Email firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll send you a sign-up list for you to pick the best time for you to be available to help, along with contact information for those of us coordinating. Please include your t-shirt size and we will have a shirt for you that will make your service as a volunteer for justice and peace conspicuous.
If you want to help but cannot attend General Convention, please consider making a donation HERE and when you do, thanks! And, whether or not you can help us as a volunteer, please plan to come to our reception. We want you to share in our celebration of the successful advocacy of our John Nevin Sayre and Cotton Fite Award winners!
Thanks in advance for lending us a very needed helping hand!
