Dear Episcopal Peace Fellowship Supporters,
Greetings in the name of the Prince of Peace! There is an excitement in the air which is driving a renewed embrace of those of us committed to peace and justice. The Episcopal Peace Fellowship is uniquely positioned to influence not only the church, but the world and its insistence that violence is the means by which conflict and deep-rooted differences must be resolved. We stand for another way, a more just and peaceful path, keeping our gaze on a new Kingdom which is symbolized by the Beloved Community.
This Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 11am (Eastern) each of you are strongly urged to take an hour to make your voice heard within our organization as we hold our Annual Members' Meeting virtually with other EPF members, parishes and chapters around the country. We have even invited a greeting from our sister organization, The Anglican Peace Fellowship, in the United Kingdom. The primary purpose of our gathering is to approve leaders to serve EPF on our National Executive Council for the coming years. We will also pray, hear some brief updates about the coming year and invite each of you to a new monthly forum on peacemaking which will begin the end of February throughout 2021.
I look forward to sharing time with you this weekend and ask you to keep the work of the EPF uppermost on your prayers, your energies, your giving and your dreams for a peaceful and just future.
The Rev. Bob Davidson
National Chair, EPF
