This fall Episcopal Peace Fellowship celebrates its 75th year of waging the gospel of peace. All are invited to Virginia Theological Seminary as we reflect on our rich past of striving for justice and working for peace, highlight EPF’s current endeavors and look toward the future as we continue training new generations of peacemakers.
Bishop Eugene Taylor Sutton of the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland will keynote the event and address the theological implications of our country’s current gun violence epidemic Bishop Sutton is a convener of Bishops Against Gun Violence and a member of Episcopal Peace Fellowship.
During the gathering EPF staff, board members and local Episcopalians actively working to end gun violence will also speak. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow EPF friends and learn about current EPF chapter efforts in the DC area. Admission to this event is $20 per person and includes a catered lunch.
