____________________________________is applying to be a member of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship Young Adult Initiative at General Convention 2012. The Young Adult Initiative is designed to bring activist young adults together to observe and participate in the work of our General Convention. This team of ten young adults ages 18-30 will commit to monitoring legislation, speaking on behalf of issues of peace and justice, assisting with reporting of the work of peace making at Convention and participating in the caucusing sessions and special events of the Convention. Funded by EPF,  this program provides participants with free housing and a per diem for food, along with (if needed) a modest subsidy to help defray the cost of transportation. The 2012 YAI will be co-led by Jessie Vedanti and Megan Anderson

 

This will be a demanding program during a demanding General Convention. Please evaluate honestly the applicant’s ability to thrive in this program.  Thank you for your time.
