This Action Group was initiated out of a growing concern for the people of Iran and the impending threat of another war. About the co-convener.
The U.S. government, and most Americans, have been out of relationship with Iran for nearly 30 years, and most Americans are woefully misinformed about Iran. We now find ourselves on the brink of yet another war, which can only have tragic consequences for the U.S. and for Iran, as well as for the whole Middle East and beyond.
The purposes of this Action Group will be to inform ourselves and as many others as possible about the dangers of military confrontation with Iran, and also to take action to promote peaceful dialogue with Iran and Iranians.”
