Asheville EPF Chapter:A Place for Dialogue

While the Chapter we will continue to address both the Iraq War and Israel/Palestine
as we are able,  there are also crying needs within the USA.

The widely described polarization that seems to infiltrate every cultural and political issue today forms a huge threat to our future.

Perhaps our EPF could make a modest contribution by providing a peaceful forum where inflammatory issues could be discussed and examined quietly.

Our first such discussion will be a Workshop  on Immigration Issues the week after Easter, led by two knowledgeable and involved  persons. Registration is being capped at 25 (to emphasize participation and not indoctrination) and it will be for education only.  We have no agenda other than non-emotional discussion.  It remains to be seen whether this benefits the EPF in any way, but we feel it is something the community needs regardless.  We would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have: rossgwin@charter.net.
