Liturgical Resources: Epiphany

by Rev. Gary Commins

Gracious God, you revealed the light to the nations in the star over Bethlehem and in Jesus at his transfiguration; give us grace to perceive your glory in his words and deeds that we may reflect your radiance in all that we say and do.  Amen.

Blessed are those who are not offended by Jesus
May all seekers be blessed with peace

Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe
May the pure in heart be blessed with peace

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness
May their cravings be blessed with peace

Blessed are those who eat the bread of the Kingdom
May the Church be blessed with peace

Blessed are those who hear and do the Word of God
May your apostles be blessed with peace

Blessed are they who come in the name of the Lord
May their ministries be blessed with peace

Blessed are the peacemakers
May their faithful witness be blessed with peace

O God of Light and Life and Love and Blessing, as your voice was heard at the baptism and transfiguration of Jesus, so speak to us that we may journey from light to light, peace to peace, and glory to glory from our baptism to our transfiguration.  Amen.
