The Peace Partner network consists of individuals and institutions (congregations, dioceses, seminaries, etc) who are seeking to grow their peace and justice ministries with the support of the Episcopal Peace Fellowship. See Peace Partner Congregation Directory HERE
This year the Episcopal Peace Fellowship is expanding the Peace Partner Congregation program. Congregations that join the Peace Partner Network receive the following member benefits in return for their annual pledge to EPF:
*A listing in EPF’s Online Peace Partner Congregation Directory. The Directory is a way to advertise your ministries and connect with others.
*A listing in our bi-annual Mag-e-zine Episcopal Peace Witness.
*Access to the EPF Constant Contact account to send attractive emails to large groups.
*Consultation time with EPF’s Creative Peacemaking Team on your congregation’s peace and justice work.
*A beautiful poster of the Bishop Paul Jones icon, a piece created by the Rev. Robert Two Bulls for the Episcopal Peace Fellowship.
*A certificate identifying your congregation as a Peace Partner Congregation.
*Ten free copies of Episcopal Peace Witness twice a year.
In addition to the benefits listed above, we will be featuring each Peace Partner Congregation periodically in our weekly mass e-mail, Peace on the Go, and on our EPF Facebook fan page. We also have plans to feature Peace Partner Congregations at General Convention with a slide show displayed in the EPF booth.
Peace Partner membership works! As a long term EPF member, Ida Mae Patteson (Knoxville, TN) said “When I went to look for a new parish, I needed to find one that acted on their commitment to peace. I wanted a parish where we could have an EPF chapter.” The Rev. Ted Curtis (Chicago, IL) said “This is great for our congregation. It will let folks seeking a peace-centered parish know what we do and where we are.”
We hope that you will join the Peace Partner Network.
