How much can you learn during one week about combatting injustice when your teachers are the people on the margins of society and their advocates from churches and social service agencies who work hard to bring peace, justice and healing to the broken places in our lives and in society?
A whole lot!

Come on a pilgrimage with college students and young adults and together reflect on our love for God and our neighbor as expressed through the spiritual practice of social justice advocacy. Meet other people, pilgrims and teachers, who want to learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed and defend those on the margins.

The Episcopal Peace Fellowship Urban Pilgrimages will be held in five sites during spring breaks in March 2011. During the pilgrimages, students and young adults will be able to reflect spiritually, theologically, philosophically and politically on the societal causes and concepts of homelessness, immigration and hunger. It is our hope that this experience will help empower us to combat injustice, poverty and oppression in our own communities.
